Minimal Monday

My youngest daughter got married recently, which is why I was MIA on this blog for the past two weeks. I am not much of a multi-tasker, so when something important is happening, I am typically all in for that, and only that. It was beautiful to focus on the love and joy of that event.

Now I am left pondering this: In our every day lives, how can we increase our moments of love and joy when the world is in a state of chaos and horror? How do we bring light to a darkened time?

Creativity is an expression of our shared humanity. What is more loving than that? Doing what is at the core of our being is bringing light. It is a prayer, an act of connection.

I hope you will clear space for your passions – mental space, physical space- and treat it as sacred, because it is a sacred part of you. I believe that creativity comes through us from a place of light, healing, and wholeness.

“The most regretful people on earth are those who felt the call to creative work, who felt their own creative power restive and uprising, and gave to it neither power nor time.”
